Baked pork chops with apples have long been a favorite main dish of the Rendleman family. Simply spread trimmed pork chops (or sliced boneless pork loin) in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Salt and pepper. Top each chop with ¼ tsp. chopped garlic, 1 tsp. brown sugar, and three thick unpeeled Jonathan apple slices. Bake at 350 degrees until tender, about 1 hour.
